Born in Alabama and relocated to the Gulf Coast as a child, Susan lives in Gulfport now with her husband Freddy. Her entire adult life has been spent taking care of children in her home, fostering, and serving as nursery director of her church. Susan has an associate's degree in special education and spent 19.5 years working as a SPED teacher at Gulfport High before retiring. She missed working with children so much she decided to return to the work field where she became a PreK teacher for Hope Academy. She loves coming to work every day and always has a smile on her face!
