LIGHTHOUSE TEAM

Grades K-8

The Student Lighthouse Team works alongside our faculty to inspire Hope Academy students to be the best they can be by learning, living, and sharing the 7 Habits.

ROBOTICS TEAM

Grades 5-8

The Robotics Team gives scholars the opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering, and math concepts. Team members build and refine their robots by competing against other budding engineers in local and regional competitions.

CHESS CLUB

Grades K-8

Participation in Chess Club helps scholars to develop problem-solving skills, patience, focus of thought, and self-discipline.  Our club members hone their skills through local and regional competitions.

YEARBOOK STAFF

Grades 5-8

Students on our yearbook staff design, promote, and sell the Hope Academy Yearbook. Throughout the year, you'll see staff members taking pictures at school events that capture all of the exciting things that happen at our school.

CHEERLEADING

Grades K-8

In addition to the very important job of building school spirit (Go Hawks!), cheerleading promotes physical fitness, develops leadership skills and encourages teamwork. You'll see our cheerleaders on the sidelines supporting our athletes, and also lending a hand at Student Showcases and other school events.

ARCHERY

Grades 5-8

By practicing archery, our team members learn patience, focus, and self-motivation. Archers not only need physical strength, but also mental strength. The Hope Academy Archery Team participates in local and regional competitions.

MIDDLE SCHOOL BAND

Grades 5-8

The Hope Academy Band is a natural extension of our robust Fine Arts program. Playing a musical instrument has proven to enhance auditory discrimination, fine motor skills and non-verbal reasoning.

CROSS COUNTRY

Grades 5-8

Our cross country athletes train in the beautiful master-planned community of Florence Gardens, and race on open-air courses around the state.

SOCCER

Preschool through 6th Grade

Hope Academy's championship soccer program began just a few years ago with one team, and has grown to include five teams from U5 to U10.

GARDEN CLUB

All Ages

Participants in our Garden Club love getting their hands dirty and learning about how to care for plants through all stages of growth. Gardening engages each of the five senses and allows our educators to introduce a myriad of scientific concepts.
