With 36 years of teaching experience, Ms. Nugent has truly valued every moment spent in the classroom. Her main objectives as an educator are to ignite a passion for learning in her students, paving the way for their future success, and to make a positive impact on their lives by nurturing and inspiring them to always pursue excellence.

 

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, along with a Gifted certification endorsement. It has been a privilege for her to be recognized in Who's Who Among American Teachers.

 

Her teaching journey has taken her from Las Vegas, Nevada, to Atlanta, Georgia, where she has had the opportunity to teach nearly every grade level and subject within the elementary spectrum.

 

She is excited to serve as the librarian at Hope Academy. Encouraging reading and helping students achieve their AR goals is extremely important to her, so she urges parents to motivate their children to read each night.
